ABOUT US

In 2019, Hip Garden Company launched a unique Start Up in the Voznesenskiy district of the Nikolaev region, – it set up a plantation of cultivated, high-vitamin and high-yielding rose hips, which currently occupies more than 30 hectares.
Rose hips grown on Hip Garden plantations contain a unique amount (especially when compared to wild rose hip species) of vitamin C (4200 mg%), vitamin P (3000 mg%), sugar (BRIX – 32 °Bx). The content of fat in the seeds equals to 17200 mg%, which significantly exceeds the fat content in wild rose hips seeds. It also contains a large amount of other vitamins, as well as macro- and microelements, flavonoids, catechins, tannins and Lycopene.
The high content of vitamins, fats and other biologically active substances makes our rose hips suitable for use by companies producing pharmaceutics, tea, cosmetics and even confiture food products, due to high sugar content and the persistent red color of the skin and pulp of the rose hip.

THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF ROSEHIPS

Rosehip is a plant that strengthens our health, improves organ function and strengthens the immune system. It is a medicinal plant with a wide range of effects.
As can be seen from the above, as to its C and P vitamin content, rosehip is the absolute champion. It contains vitamins A and D, as well as sugar, pectin, tannins, iron, manganese, potassium and calcium salts. Its seeds contain oils and fatty acids.

OUR GREEN TECHNOLOGIES

Following modern trends, we strive not only to have a minimal impact on the environment in the process of development and growth of wild rose bushes, but also to actively introduce advanced land cultivation technologies, such as the complete absence of tillage (No Till), providing the soil with the necessary nutrients, moisture retention and control of weeds and diseases by cultivating green fertilizers – green manure and cover crops, which leads not only to the improvement of our Ukrainian black soil, but also to the retention of carbon in the soil, which most beneficially affects the quality of the crop and the content of vitamins in berries.
